Bentley Heath School enjoyed their annual Summer Fayre on Saturday 5th July.
The PTA worked very hard over the last 6 months to ensure that the Summer Fayre was one to remember. They retained the format that has been enjoyed by many over the years: involvement by the children (staging shows or running stalls); competitions; BBQ and refreshments to enable Mum & Dad to have a rest from cooking; the Beer Tent in which weary folk could receive vital sustenance; and of course, all the favourite stalls - there really was something for everyone.
Sue Edwards, Chair of Bentley Heath PTA, commented "The PTA would like to thank the school children for working so hard on their shows/stalls and everyone who has helped and supported our events throughout the year. Thank you particularly to Burchell Edwards for their wholehearted support and donations.
The Marketing Director of Burchell Edwards, Dawn Oakley, who attended the event said: "We are proud to be part of local community events and have a rolling programme of investment in schools and local projects. We have worked very closely with Bentley Heath School for a number of years now and will continue to build on our relationship."
