A night out in Solihull to celebrate excellent service

AND THE BEAT GOES ON, AND THE BEAT GOES ON........ As the song says "and the beat goes on" and it certainly went on all night as Burchell Edwards staff from the Sheldon office found out on their recent night out in Solihull.

As a reward for winning the best office on a recent generation day the team at Sheldon were treated to a meal and night out in Solihull organised by Andy Holdsworth.

The evening started at Must with a few drinks, followed by a superb meal in their oriental style restaurant which later in the evening turns into the main attraction as this pleasant setting becomes the dance floor. The local DJ played tunes to keep our heads buzzing long into the night.

The Sheldon team consisting of Paul Vickerstaff ( then Manager ), Andy Oram (Assistant Branch Manager ), Sinead McCarron ( Sales Negotiator ) Stacey Skerrit ( Lettings Specialist ) and Richard Howis ( East Manager ) enjoyed a thoroughly well organised evening and the partying ran well into the night.

Paul commented, the meal was truly delicious and the service from the staff was second to none. We mixed the starters up and we all shared each others which ranged from sweet and sour spare ribs for the more traditional oriental starter to a mixed sushi for the fish lovers, all of which tasted superb. The main meal was a more personal affair and I tucked in to a lemon chicken special which again was cooked to perfection.

Following the meal and a few drinks it was decided that the group wished to dance the night away so with this in mind it was over to Après where the whole group partied into the early hours of the evening and even managed to get Andy Oram slightly tipsy with his traditional taste for local ales.

Burchell Edwards truly believe in rewarding staff for their efforts and this policy will continue with evenings already planned for the remainder of 2009, watch this space for future updates on all of the festivities for this year.
